Static Bike Ride at M&S St Martins

7th March 2026

David and Carry Wray with Stephen and Carol Wray raised an amazing £1,500+ on Saturday 7th March riding static bikes at both M&S St Martins and M&S L’islet all morning and through the lunchtime. Very well done “The Four Wrays” for making a fantastci early start to this year’s fundraising for Les Bourgs Hospice. Thanks to M&S for the help in organising this.

Static Bike Ride at Waitrose

28th March 2026

Eddie Higgins will be raising money on his static bike at Waitrose on Saturday 28th March and Sunday 29th March from 9.00 until 6.00 pm. Thanks to Waitrose for assisting with this and good luck to Eddie on the fundraising. If you shopping on either Saturday or Sunday pop by and give Eddie some encouragement.

Static Bike Ride M&S St Martins

11th April 2026

Hazel and Rachel Seymour, AKA “WE BREAK FOR CAKE”, will be riding their static bike on Saturday April 11th at M&S St Martins to make an early start to this years fundraising for Les Bourgs Hospice. If you are in the the St Martins area on Saturday 11th then pop by and give them your support. Thanks to the management of M&S St Martins for their support.

Wheely Tyred Quiz Night

1st May 2026

Trish and her team “Wheely Tyred” have a quiz night to be held at The Vale Douzaine Room on Friday 1st May. Tickets are £12 but if not already full then very close to it. Contact Trish on her contacts as per the poster above.

First Day Breakfast

2nd May 2026

Riders enjoyed the The Traditional First Day Breakfast which was held as normal at The Kiln Oatlands on Saturday 2nd May 2026. The team at The Kiln are great hosts with a sumptuous menu for hungry cyclists. Owner Jenny Meeks once again serves breakfast to all the cyclists and guests and makes no charge.

Only Fools and Donkeys Sportive

17th May 2026

Matt Collas and Only Fools and Donkeys have organised the 4th Annual Sportive to raise funds for the 30/30 Challenge and Les Bourgs Hospice. Distances are 30/60/90 miles so suitable for most abilities. Registration is £10 per rider. Please visit https://www.cyclingclimbs.org.gg

ECJS 7 IN 7

18th May 2026

Elizabeth College Junior School have a long tradition of supporting Les Bourgs Hospice and the 30/30 Challenge. The school arranges for students who wish to to take part in 7 Rides in 7 Days. Students arrive at school early and cycle around the school playing fields for 30 minutes each day. The dates for this year’s ECJS 7 in 7 are Monday 18th May to Friday 22nd May.

Rocque to Rock Bike Ride

31st May 2026

Organisers “Friends of Les Bourgs”. Annual Rock to Rocque Bike Ride has thee starting points. 21 Miles from Val Des Terres 8:45am, 15 Miles from Pleinmont 09:45am and 10 Miles from Grandes Rocques 10:45am. All Rides end at White Rock.

Last Day Ride In

31st May 2026

Rider are invited to ride the last mile of 30 rides in 30 Days Challenge together to the end of the Annual Rocque to Rock on Sunday 31st May. This year’s challengers will meet at Ian Brown’s Cycle Shop for light refreshments and celebration from 11.00 am and set off at 11.45 am for finish at North Beach.
